Individual Therapy
Individuals may seek therapy for a variety of reasons. Oftentimes therapy is utilized to address concerns regarding difficulties with relationships, mood, anxiety, stressful or unanticipated life events, and other concerns. Therapy can help provide insight, support, and new strategies for life challenges that individuals frequently face.
Group Therapy
Group therapy is a positive outlet for people to recognize that they are not alone in whatever they may be struggling or trying to deal with and to be able to connect and relate to others. Knowing that you have people that just "get it" can provide comfort and ease when trying to work through all of the different situations and emotions that life presents.
Family Therapy
Family therapy is often utilized to improve relationships between family members and to address a variety of issues such as conflict between parents and children, marital difficulties affecting the family unit, or the impact of a family member's mental illness on the family as a whole. Research has shown that family therapy is effective in decreasing problematic symptoms in children, adolescents, or young adults in addition to enhancing the overall family environment.
